About
The Charlotte Potters Tour was founded in 2023. It occurs twice a year in the Spring and Winter. The Tour allows the Charlotte community (and beyond!) to visit the ceramic artists' homes and studios to view their work and talk clay. Currently, the 2024 Spring Charlotte Potters Tour is upcoming on June 22 & 23 from 10am-4pm.
We hope to see you all there- spring has sprung!🌼

John Ferraris
John makes gas fired, cone-10, multi-glaze ceramics. You'll often find faces and fishes amongst his work smiling back at you!
He is intrigued by natural shapes, textures, and colors, and often includes them in his work, but doesn’t feel limited by them.
John aims to create good forms with satisfying variations in color and texture. He hopes the joy he feels in the making can be shared with others.
