Station 8

Station 8 is located at 505 Sherman St, on the city’s Northwest side. It houses Engine 8, one of two extrication companies. This station is the oldest of the Rockford Fire Department, built in 1928. The Rock River dissects the station area. This area is mostly residential, older construction homes.
