2021 Rio Grande Basin Implementation Plan Update

As noted in the BIP Update, "the Rio Grande BRT recognizes the importance of, and is committed to, providing outreach and education and supporting participation that furthers the shared messages of the Rio Grande Basin’s education partners, the Rio Grande BRT, Interbasin Compact Committee, and CWCB as they relate to the preservation and sustainability of water resources."

One of the many ways the Roundtable works toward the goal of "engaged and informed citizens who understand the scope and urgency of local, state, and regional water issues," is by funding the development of educational videos. Below is a recent video funded by the Roundtable which focuses on the history of agriculture in the Basin as well as current challenges and opportunities for agricultural producers.
