Yoshio Markino Timeline Map

This site contains three different virtual map tours (listed below) that serve to highlight Markino's movement throughout the world and throughout time. Markino traveled a lot and his position as a world traveler played a prominent role within his life and works of art. Please note that there are gaps in the timeline, in which case, Markino was most likely either traveling or in London. Each of the tours were created with help from William S. Rodner's Yoshio Markino: Chronology of His Life and Work. Rodner's chronology was adapted from a translation by Eriko Tomizawa-Kay of a chronology created by the Toyota City Museum of Local History.
