1

Salamanca, Spain

I had a host mom, a host teen sister, and a tiny cat. I got to immerse myself in the Salamanca community, and I also did some solo travel all around western Europe!

2

Choir at Salamanca

I joined the choir while there. We got to sing for the president of Colombia!

3

Segovia, Spain

Study abroad teaches humility: you’re coming into a place where you have to be respectful because you’re different. But I think it also teaches you to interact with new people.

4

Madrid, Spain

Studying abroad also made me realize that European culture is so different from mine. It made me appreciate Spain and going to a new place.

5

Ávila, Spain

I learned so much during my time in Spain!

6

Marseille, France

My friend Amelia and I spent our spring break in Southern France. We took a train there, saw a giant gummy bear, and enjoyed some beautiful sights!

7

Nice, France

Study abroad made me appreciate American culture, too. Things like ice water, public bathrooms, junk food, and waiters who are polite to you. Servers aren't required to be tipped in Europe, so they don't have to be nice to you.

8

Prague with Cousin

In Prague, I also met up with my cousin who was doing an MBA there.

9

San Sebastián, Spain

Studying abroad also taught me that I’m really brave! I did a lot of solo trips. Being that alone was new to me.

10

Granada, Spain

Overall, I would say it was a great experience.

Program Graduation at Salamanca

My off-campus study program even gave us a mini program graduation!
