This layer was produced by Wildlands Network and seeks to highlight ongoing efforts and showcase partnerships that, with legislation and support from the State, can protect critical linkages and connect habitats.

Wildlands Network started its California program in 2020 as part of a larger effort to connect core habitats and migration corridors from Baja California to British Columbia. California Program Manager Mari Galloway develops partnerships and strategies to further policy, on-the-ground projects, and science that reconnects habitats throughout the State.
