Field Course Seyðisfjörður
AURORA Intensive Field Course Iceland with a focus on natural hazards in the city of Seyðisfjörður from the 14.08 to 18.08.2022.
The course started in Reykjavik where all the students met at the University of Iceland. From there on the busride to Seyðisfjörður on the eastern side of Iceland began with many interesting tourism and information stops on the way. In the evening the Skálanes Field Centre was reached where the participants stayed over the field trip.
The Field Course came to an end by the drive back to Reykjavik. The time in the car was spend reflecting the last days and collectively thinking on ideas for the following work. There was also time to have a few scenic breaks on the way. All in all the Field Course was very intensive, educational and a lot of fun for everybody.
