YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
How the purchase of carbon credits will allow you to be a driver of positive impact
The Triple Bottom Line
The High Atlas Foundation can help your company contribute to each goal of the triple bottom line :
- People
- Profit
- Planet
These goals provide a framework for how these components can help the environment, communities, and even increase their financial performance.
People
The association changed a lot of things in our lives and in our inner capacities
The High Atlas Foundation works to create a better life for many in Morocco.
One group that they work to help through many different programs is women. By choosing to partner with HAF, they can continue to develop and expand these programs.
Another group is children, who through initiatives such as Sami's Project for Youth and Schools , can be given valuable opportunities that will help to shape their future.
Profit
For the price of $0.40 USD per tree, you could plant 24 pomegranate trees, creating 1 ton of CO2 being sequestered from the environment. For a small price, you can create a major impact.
Think about the development of your company’s brand image. You could invest in an organization that is fighting to create sustainable prosperity. Imagine the impact that this could have on your business. To be able to say that you are tackling one of the most defining crises of our lifetime is priceless.
Planet
You can help HAF in creating sustainable change with its goal of planting 10 million trees by 2025. The trees are located within 11 organic nurseries dispersed throughout 7 provinces.

Why Carbon Credits?
Carbon credits are one way in which a company can strive to meet its sustainability goals.
What are carbon credits? Carbon credits provide a way for individuals or companies to purchase means of removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in place of the carbon dioxide that they have emitted.
- It is a simple first step to lowering your company's carbon footprint.
- Carbon credits can be implemented quickly, therefore allowing your company to start making an impact as soon as possible.
- Other companies are already implementing carbon credits, as they recognize its ability to contribute to positive business.
- Prices are currently low, so there is no time to lose.
- According to McKinsey, one of the most influential consulting firms, in 2025 the voluntary carbon market may experience an 100 times increase in demand for carbon credits.
- The McKinsey article also states that the carbon credit industry is worth more than $100 billion
Become a Voice in the Changing Market
Consumers today are looking for products that they can feel good about buying. Whether it stems from buying products that are organic, clean, or eco-friendly, companies that answer this demand will in turn see a larger consumer base.
In 2021, the Economist Intelligence Unit published a report that showed an increase of 71% of searches that included sustainable goods since 2016.
Consumers care. Therefore, companies should also care about their commitment to sustainability.
Deloitte, a professional services firm, suggests in a report that while each generation has a slightly different focus, there is a shift in demand for products that promote sustainability, but there are steps that companies should take to encourage the consumers. By promoting the positive change that your company is making through purchasing carbon credits and showing that the low cost will not severely impact the prices of goods, consumers will be more drawn to your products.
