Porter Park Acquisition

Porter Park is a 7.7-acre property purchased in 2022 by the city to provide much needed park space in Ward 1.

Idlewild Park Playground

The Idlewild Park playground renovation is funded in part by a Neighborhood Participation Program (NPP) grant submitted by the Eiber Neighborhood Association and approved by Lakewood City Council. NPP gives community organizations a chance to submit an application to receive city funding for small-scale projects they believe would make a difference in improving their neighborhoods.

Glennon Heights Pool Renovation

Renovations provided updated bathrooms and changing areas in the bathhouse, improvements to the outdoor pool and a redone baby pool.
